Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à La Grue. Le gîte est situé dans un environnement très calme et à distance raisonnable d’une multitude de sites à visiter. Carol et Martin sont des hôtes charmants et partagent volontiers leurs bons conseils pour profiter au maximum de ce que la région permet de découvrir. ~ anne v

Lieux calme et dépaysant pour se reposer. Il y a tous ce qu'il faut dans les maisons pour profiter pleinement. Carol et Martin sont adorables et authentiques, nous avons passé un agréable moment. We stayed for December 2022 through Christmas and the new year. We were greeted with a lovely blazing log fire which was a treat after travelling all day. Our 2 bedroom gite was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and lovely cosy bedding. Well positioned in quiet countryside yet only 4kms from Aigre. (easy to find) The owners, Carol and Martin were wonderful hosts, and always had an answer for any queries. We enjoyed our stay and we hope to return in the near future. Highly recommended. ~ I A

This is a beautiful place. So peaceful, air is clean and at night the sky is dark, so we properly rested. We have two primary age children and they love coming here too. Lovely choice of games and toys that occupied them for hours. Carol helped us choose outings and arranged a meal out for us; we had such lovely experiences because of Carol’s help which we would never have figured out on our own. Special memories made. En ce mois de juillet, nous avons passé un agréable séjour très reposant dans un environnement calme. La location est parfaite, très propre et très bien entretenue tout comme l'espace piscine qui est impeccable. Carol et Martin sont très accueillants, toujours disponibles et prêts à rendre service. Ils font le maximum afin de rendre vos vacances les plus agréables possible. Carol vous renseignera volontiers sur les activités et événements à découvrir dans la région. We recently stayed at La grue gites for a week and it was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. Carol was always on hand to help with anything we needed and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. You have everything you could possibly need there, the swimming pool is lovely and shops are not far away. Everything is within easy reach for sightseeing. Would happily return. ~ Kerrie S

Had a great week in the 1 bedroomed gite! Quiet location in a beautiful area. Rooms finished to a high standard mix of modern and traditional! Loads to see in the area however would definitely recommend renting a car. Owners are very friendly. Could not recommend enough. ~ Sam B

Carole Martin and family. Took care of us like family. They have beautiful gites and I stayed in two. One was for over a month ! The gîte s are well equipped and beautiful. You going to struggle to find a problem. Can not recommend highly enough. Trish ~ Trish

My husband and I spent a lovely two weeks in the Bois gite. Very quaint with a nice sunny courtyard. It is a beautiful location and a great base to explore the area. Carol , Martin ,Daisy and Toby are great hosts. Very helpful with a great knowledge of the area. We would highly recommended it. ~ Alyson B

Everything is perfect. The Gites, the pool and most importantly the hosts. You are made to feel so welcome. The gites are extremely well equipped. Everything and we mean everything has been thought of. You really won't be dissapointed. ~ Toni T
